Re: Movie Watch
I agree with Sock.
The problems with Clash of the Titans are manyfold, but none can be attributed to Harryhausen's work.
Not in my opinion.

Heh, for some reason I thought I was responding to someone else, rather than the Retarded Opinions On Cinema Generator. Never mind, carry on.

Thanks for the warning. I had the movie on my queue but now I'll skip it.

BrotherMan recommends you add
X-Men: Origins: Wolverine to your queue, best movie with multiple colons in the title.

And
Human Centipede is the best movie with multiple colons that aren't in the title.

You have an unhealthy fascination with

Re: Movie Watch
That's awful. Is that just reflected light from the ring, or does he have green highlights in his hair?
You know, Green Lantern's costume isn't as iconic as, say, Superman's or Batman's or Spiderman's, and that gives them a lot of leeway. This would have been the perfect opportunity to do a less silly, more real world look for a superhero. I guess I'm not surprised that they went in the exact opposite direction.

I disagree, Adam. While it's true that Green Lantern's look isn't as iconic as Superman or Spider-Man. And there would certainly be a lot of leeway from even the most die hard of nerd ragers. And the news that the suit would be all CGI made a kind of sense as the ring usually took care of how an individual lantern wanted to appear. But whatever the hell that is suggests to me that whoever designed the suit hates Green Lantern.

See? If you watched
X-men: Origins: Wolverine like BrotherMan is constantly suggesting, you'd know who he was.

This
RED thing could be promising. Not that fussed on the trailer, but it's based on a Warren Ellis comic and has a great cast.

I'm digging Loki's helmet.
One of the places I saw this pic posted made an observation that sort of helped me get over my earlier complaints about how silly some of the costumes look: These aren't supposed to be live action interpretations of Norse gods, these are supposed to be live action interpretations of Jack Kirby's interpretation of Norse gods.

New

OK, for reals, apparently the guy playing Thor there makes a cameo in the new flick. I'm sure it will be just as awesome.

As an unabashed Tron fangirl, I am superfuckingpsyched about the sequel. I may even break my 3D boycott just for this.
