I'll be the first to admit that we Texans have a tremendous urge to illustrate our Texitude, in all things. Texas in word, image, and spirit. Crap, Bud humors us by making a seperate label just for the Texans. Lots of other companies do too.
But this change is simply to make them easier to find. Google "Performing Arts Center" and see how many divergent things you get. Then try Texas Performing Arts. Bang, right to the top. Though, I'll admit the reasoning they offered for the change was funny.

Yeah, but the name isn't "Texas Performing Arts", it's "Texas Performing Arts at The University of Texas at Austin".
I just had a sleeve of crackers out a little bit ago, which I finished with and promptly secured away in the cupboard because Zsa Zsa was following me around, and she sometimes does some counter surfing when presented with temptations like that.
Then, I leave the room for a while, and when I come back in, she's hiding under the desk finishing up a sleeve of crackers. I go check, and the ones I'd put away are still there where I put them.
So the only explanation I can think of is that seeing me with those crackers reminded her of some secret cracker stash she had somewhere in the house, which she broke out as soon as I left.
They should be more careful at that shelter about letting people adopt dogs that are smarter than them.
Ok, this is kind of related to vm's whole thing, and he just posted a couple of posts ago, so I figured I'd put it here. It's an actual advertisement I saw so like... you could apply for the job, I guess.
The Little Muffin's BFF is getting married next week, so I asked him what his new last name is going to be, and he IS changing it. He's hyphenating. She's not, though. She's keeping her name.
So, um, what happened to Google? Firefox is trying to connect to http://255.255.255.255/ when I go there, and IE just says it cannot find that server... The worst part is, I can't even google about it and see what's going on. I'm completely cut off from the outside world. I... I think I'm going mad!
It came back now, but it wasn't working when I initially read your post. For your link, once it got done typing in google and clicked the button, it went to the error page...
OMG, I just got some boring email about how I'm supposed to do some boring thing with Adsense because of some boring reason that they pay me some money sometimes for some boring stuff about cracking provider locks or something.
I don't understand, and I don't know how to program all of these boring things, because I am so old!
