Default Tattoos…at age 60

My husband and I do not have any tattoos. He’s 60 and I’m 57. I’m not sure if he’s in a midlife crisis, but he has it in his head (pun not intended) to get one. The man shaves his head bald which I find attractive. He’s got a nice bald
head which looks good , especially from the back. I have nothing against tattoos. On other people. He wants to get a tattoo on his gorgeous head of a tiny frog pushing a lawn mower right exactly where this precious gray hair line comes in before he shaves it.

The man can do what he wants but he has never had one before. I’m afraid he’ll regret it. And I AM afraid of infection. This man nearly died in 2021 of a throat infection. I remember the year because I was the only one who could be in the hospital due to Covid. His daughters couldn’t even visit.

Anyhoo… have any of you ever regretted getting a tattoo?

I'm 65, don't have any tats, and never seriously considered getting one. My father got one while in the Navy during WWII, a cowgirl leaning against a split rail fence on his upper arm. He didn't regret the tattoo, but wasn't pleased with the way it aged. It had lots of fine detail work and color that didn't hold up especially well.

I gotta ask: why a frog pushing a lawn mower?

I’ve heard aging tattoos are the ones people most regret.

$20 for him to test his idea for a week.
Custom temporary tattoos - Fake tattoos in bulk | Sticker Mule

I have no idea how well these work, but likely less painful and costly than laser removal.

Thanks and I do mean thanks Ari. I already ordered the temporary kit on Amazon. Lol. We are just waiting for it to get here. He’s adamant won’t change his mind but I hope it gets it out of his system.

That actually sounds kind of clever.
And, this late in life, the only real issue I can think of is what it will look like when the receding hairline continues to recede.
