The best steak I've ever had was a
petite filet mignon, wrapped in bacon strips and smothered in tiny mushrooms sauted in butter. It was served me at a small French restaurant, Café des Amis. That was over twenty years ago, and many filet mignon since, but it is still indelibly etched upon my memories of my taste buds.
