I didn't think of meter like in music or poetry, but that sounds quite plausible too.
Craft doesn't necessarily fit song/lyrics/poem terribly well, but it doesn't have to. It just has to clearly fit that word better than their team's other options, either in general or given what the other words are.
You might say you were "crafting a song" and if the other words clearly aren't "crafts" or things you would "craft", then it works fine as a clue.
I also think probably that, BUT what is the penalty if the other team is right and we get it wrong? Do we lose the same amount as if we both got the answer right?
Sorry. Staying in a remote spot in Wales with no phone signal. I have slow Wi-Fi though, this morning. I think maybe 432 but I'm happy with whatever you guys want to guess.
Corpses is harder to decide for, but I guess it could work for 3 since big feasts often have animal corpses (the Thanksgiving turkey). Or it could go for 2 maybe if I'm thinking of death metal type stuff, but I don't think it works that well.
If 4 is to do with flowers, then it would make sense for funerals.
Deaths seems like it would go with 1 best, if it seems to have something to do with population.
Although I don't have very strong feelings towards any of 3, 4, 1 the one I feel best about is funerals for 4.
What do you think Corpses goes with ES, if Funerals is 3? And are you happy with Deaths being 1?
I find myself coming back to 3, 4, 1 more and more as I go over it. I think that's because I'm falling into the trap that we kind of know their 4 words. If we're right about approximately what they are, then 3, 4, 1 makes the most sense. Of course if we have some wrong then we'll never win getting stuck in that rut.
So I like exploring a different line of thought, but we have to make all 3 (Corpses, Funerals, Deaths) fit for it to make sense to go a different route.
