The same party lied in ads about Obamacare, you have seen their lies exposed, why would you believe their lies now?
If you believe someone that lies to you, that makes you a moron of the first class.

"The Republican health care plan will strip away coverage from hardworking families like yours while spending millions of tax dollars on handouts for the wealthiest few."
lol, that is exactly what Obamacare did!
For example, I was able to fund 100% of my employees' healthcare, $10 copays, no deductibles, unlimited coverage.
Under Obamacare I have had to require the employees to pay 40% of the premium (and I am still paying more than I was before when I was paying 100% of the premiums), $25 copays, $1,000-$4,000 deductibles.
All Obamacare did was reduce access and enrich the elite class.
Obamacare literally gave direct payments to big insurance. You can't get any more of a handout to the wealthiest few. As exampled by the author of the article presented just above. That dude went from rich, to super wealthy under Obamacare.

"2 Estimate based on CBPP analysis of change in individual market premium for a 45-year old individual with income of $22,000 annually in 2020. Source."
This is an obvious lie because this person would be eligible for government provided healthcare.
Now that you know the Senate Democrats are openly and verifiably lying to you, what do you say?

You know if they're not elderly, a common theme of the Trump voter is poor conservative christian with lots of children. So of course the Trump bill protects children and the poor the most...
Not sure what your point is, Medicaid is not intended to cover the entire population of any of the categories listed..
I mean, are you expecting the government to cover all births even when the family has private insurance to pay for it already?
Also, what is your source?

Btw, Obamacare, essentially cut medicaid funding by10% through increasing the number of people enrolled, but not increasing the federal payments into the system, thereby reducing access to care for the most needy.
Where were you when this law was being debated?
Ohh, that's right, you didn't want to be called a racist, so Obama cutting medicaid by 10% is A-OK in your book.
lol @ ignorant liberals

"Do We Really Need A Middleman In Our Broken Health Care System? No."
So are they stupid, or are they intentionally lying?
Either way, why would anyone support such an organization?
The only truthful no answer to the question is direct payment from consumer to provider, you know, like when you buy a toaster, car, or home.

Also, from what I read, there's some stupid voter initiative in California from 1988 that seriously complicates any attempt to pass a single payer type bill: California Proposition 98 (1988 - Wikipedia)
It restricts the amount of change allowed in the education budget as a percentage of the state's budget. The problem with this is, of course, that if you increase spending on other areas while leaving the education budget alone, the percentage of the budget spent on education will decrease.
Which means that in order to properly fund a single payer system while satisfying those requirements, they also have to increase education spending, which leads to ridiculous results.
It might be that a Medicaid buy-in option would not cause this problem, but I'm not sure how revenues from taxes vs. people paying premiums to buy into Medicaid coverage would be handled.
Otherwise, they have to repeal or modify that voter initiative first if they want to pass a major healthcare reform.
California has a lot going for it, but there are a lot of stupid voter initiatives on the books there.
Anyway, in conclusion, it's all Nancy Pelosi's fault for being a neoliberal or something.
They already pay more than we do for worse service.
Repeating falsehoods do not make them true.
The typical person in the USA has insurance paid by their employer, thus they pay nothing out of pocket, compared to the taxes other countries impose on their citizens.
The cost is more simply because we use more service, in the US one has the greatest access to health care of any country at anytime in history.
Your argument is like saying your apples are cheaper because each citizen is allowed only one apple, thus the cost is only $1 per citizen, whereas in the US, each citizen can have as many apples as they want, and the average citizen eats 6 apples, thus the cost is $6.
lol

The teachers union is essentially in control of the entire State budget.
