Since When is Asshole Left Uncensored on the Radio?

So here I was innocently listen to the radio when , the song I was listening had asshole uttered without bleeping or silencing. I was so shocked I fell on my ! I was completely gobsmacked. When did this happen and how did I miss it?

I was familiar with the song they were playing and fully expected it to be censored so imagine my surpise when it wasn't. I was like they didn't. And yet they did.

Since when have they been so lax? Then again, it might have something to do with the time of night where I am and location. Who knows.

I dunno how it's done nowadays with the fancy computers 'n' such, but back in the days of vinyl, I helped out at a college radio station that had "advisory" stickers on the album covers. I remember seeing one on AC/DC's Dirty Deeds album that said "DO NOT PLAY - ADVISORY" for the song "Big Balls." I asked about it, since technically there's not a single dirty word in that song. "I know," the DJ told me, "and it wasn't considered a problem -- until one of the DJs dedicated it to somebody."

WMMR uses "pussy" on the air. Mostly from a clip of My Fellow Americans where James Garner calls Jack Lemmon a pussy for drinking decaf.

Things have certainly calmed since that Superbowl event.

I have often heard "Who are you" by The Who still have the part in it where he says "Who the FUCK are you?!"
