Actually there's a perfectly good reason for my inability to see that: it's not happening.

Of course I understand that you are compelled to believe otherwise, but that's not my problem.
I think I understand now. You are clueless about other religions. But I suppose that you think the Catholic god and religion is perfectly reasonable. After all, they were responsible for the bible in the first place.

Most Catholics do. In fact this is how they justify shoving their ideas down everyone else's throat. Sorry, I usually refrain from saying such things but, since yguy is such a nice guy ...

Well it is curious how the Universe is homogeneous and it is all comprised of the same basic stuff. So, we shouldn't feel all that remote from other parts of the Universe in that sense. In other words maybe we shouldn't feel that our experience is all that unique? As for who they cast for Star Wars, maybe they had a shortage of actual aliens?

You're nowhere close to understanding, trust me. ;)

There is no such thing.

No religion is perfectly reasonable. If it were, it would succeed in making itself irrelevant in short order.

Almost certainly you will agree with that, but for all the wrong reasons.

Of course not. My guess is that we agree on the non-existence of at least 99.9% of the gods purported to exist at one time or another. And pretty much for the same reasons. My bet is that you are unable to apply those same standards to your own god.

I guess in your world anything that is reasonable is irrelevant. I'll make a note of that.

Wow, what a video! It's hard to imagine that we should have this great sense of beauty and wonder about the Universe from the standpoint that it "just exists." Indeed, it is something worth meditating and reflecting upon.

um, Iacchus, please could you edit your first post to warn others that the video contains migraine/seizure causing stimuli? Thanks.

No, it's beyond the 24 hour time frame where I can edit it myself. I did forward a copy of your to post to the Admin so, hopefully they will take care of it.
