Since I will more than likely miss Thanksgiving this year for being close to pushing a baby out my vag, I want pics of the sides as well :hungry:

Sorry, I only took the one pic, we had mashed potatoes, corn & cranberry sauce and warm fresh bread & butter.

I am making Turkey Barley soup tomorrow with the carcass, I can take pics of that if you like

I had to make do with Applebees instead of one of MT's dinners because I'm traveling.

Legs, it's gorgeous. That stuffing packed in there makes my mouth water. Stuffing and mashed potatoes are my favorite parts of Thanksgiving.

The rest of my Meltdown baked potato from lunch. YUM!
Wrong finally finished the potato...I'm thinking tamales and beer at Chaz's bar!

We're having baked chicken with stuffed acorn squash. Pre dinner snack was bread smeared with the apple butter I just finished. :homdrool:

We went to Widget's golf club for dinner. :golfclap:

Dining Room

My Cosmo :martini: and you can see Widget's Insalata Caprese appetizer in the background

I had the Pumpkin Cream Soup with roasted pumpkin seeds topped with maple Crème fraîche. It was very sweet and you wouldn't even know it was pumpkin, it could have been cream of anything.

Rosemary Bread Crown & butter

Dinner was grilled steak with mashed and veggies

Dessert was Pear & Champagne Gelato in a ginger snap bowl with fresh berries. The gelato was carbonated, you could feel the champagne bubbles, weird.

That caprese is dreamy. I love how they kept the round shape of the tomato and shimmied the mozzarella between the cuts. The rosemary bread crown is charming too. :aww:

You know what?, it looks good, but the best thing about the whole dinner was the Cosmo and the bread.

Do you guys think I'm weird for taking pics of food to post for you? The lady sitting next to me was sort of giving me the :eyebrow2: course by course

Widget is used to me after all these years.

Hell no you're not weird! There are whole blogs dedicated to meal documentation. That lady must be some dial-up-having interwebs hater.

You would if you were out with me.
Although frequently I've already attacked my food like a junkyard dog by the time I think to take a picture.
It ain't pretty.

What Joe said. It's only a little bit weird, but I love your food pictures. I like to look at them while I'm eating the formless piles of beige slop I make for dinner every night.
