Which: If I actually were the kind of fucked up monster who was really into kind of thing as pornography (and why would you even attempt to cater, Netflix?), I would likely have sources for something a little harder core than movies about bi curious ladies taking showers together.

That's right. I am not only outraged by the technical implementation and user interface, but I have managed to muster actual MORAL outrage at Netflix as well.

Yeah, really. They keep insulting me like that all the time too. And yes, I also spend actual time of my life trying to tell them that NO, I'm not interested in whatever the hell you think I'm interested in based on a single episode of a show that I watched for 5 minutes and then decided never to watch again.

I know I mentioned this before, but I absolutely will not watch a white male stand up comic on Netflix. It's not that they are ALL terrible, it's just that every time I watch one my entire "recommended" queue gets wiped out and replaced with these idiotic potatoes. Then it takes a solid week of watching non-potato comics (which I have to discover on my own, without the recommendations) for it to get interesting and diverse again. And God help me if I forget and watch just one Carlin video during that week. Bam! Potato time! Back to square one.

I love the Watch It Later feature. When I don't have time to watch a video I'm interested in--happens a lot reading you people--I just click the handy-dandy watch face and it's waiting for me when I do find the time.

BUT!

Why does it mark a video "watched" when I only saw like 2 seconds of it? And it doesn't let me unmark it so I can gleefully click the Remove All Watched button and clean out that list before it gets too long. So I'm stuck clicking them one at a time like a refugee. Fie, sirs, fie!

(If anyone knows this can be done and my dumb ass hasn't figured out how yet, please edify me!)

You click the watch again and it'll remove it from your Watch Later list. I do wish there was the Remove All Watched option, though.

I know I have probably complained about this before, but it's literally happening to me multiple times a week, so I don't think it's unreasonable to complain at fairly regular intervals.

So we have a new stoplight that feeds into the main street by our house. This was totally necessary for a variety of reasons. Whatever.

When we drive somewhere, probably 80 or 90% of the time, it starts out with turning right at that light. The street it turns onto is a pretty major street compared to the one we're turning from, so the red light on our end is really, really long, so you'd think that would mean you just turn on red, right?

Well, ideally. But several times a week, this exact thing happens: Some moron in a high profit vehicle (SUV, truck, or minivan) pulls up in the left turn lane, completely blocking the view of both oncoming traffic AND of anyone entering the crosswalk. And if they're not pulled all the way up already, if you inch up to see past them, THEY INCH UP TOO, TO CONTINUE BLOCKING YOU.

Sometimes, as a special treat, there will be ANOTHER MORON in a high profile vehicle coming up behind you who starts honking their horn at you when you don't take the right turn.

At this point, it happens so frequently that if you drive a stupid high profile vehicle, I assume you are stupid and nasty. I've thought a long time about what potent confluence of oblivious and inconsiderate creates a person who is incapable of grasping that the actual literal VIEW of someone else is not the same as theirs. Like gigantic, self-absorbed toddlers.

And I am fully aware that probably a bunch of you guys drive those things, so let me clarify: Grownups don't like it when you do that.

EDIT: Oh, also I almost FLATTENED SOME GARBAGE CHILD a while ago, who came up from a blind corner really fast on his bike right in the crosswalk in front of my car as I was fixing to make that right. Just came out of nowhere and rode directly in front of my car. A kid got hit right outside our house a few years ago doing the same thing, too.

People in general who don't fucking pay attention when they're walking or biking around town. So today I nearly flattened a guy on his bike who was;

1) biking on the wrong side of the road
2) weaving out into the middle of the lane because he was
3) texting on his fucking phone

Basically if I had not been paying 100% attention I would have hit him or possibly stopped just before he rammed into me. Luckily I was paying attention so I saw him coming towards me and weave violently into the middle of my lane as he tried to bike one handed while texting. Normally I probably wouldn't have been quite so pissed, but I had just nearly run down a number of pedestrians in a rage because they just fucking cross roads any where and every where without even looking. This happens pretty much every single time I drive through the main streets of town. The people here are fucking crazy. Like I'll be turning right when there are no people crossing and as I'm turning people just continually walk across like I'm not even there. I've really only ever seen this before in New York, where pedestrians just walk as they please and cars be damned!.

I can corroborate your views, at a local mall there's a poorly timed and designed light which is even worse that it takes a couple roads and feeds them through a parking lot so asshats treat it like everyone is in the way, not that they are in a parking lot now and maybe they should calm down. Guys of course are the biggest dicks, but in second comes anyone in an giant SUV, Men, Women, old ladies (the other common asshole) it doesn't seem to matter, once they get in their money guzzler they turn feral. It's a bloody sidewalk, stop honking at the dude in a wheel chair using it! (let's talk about the stupidity of driving a giant "I need two spaces cause my dick needs the other" SUVs in San Francisco. Yes feed your shitty car $3.50 a gallon gas while you can't find a parking spot.)

ETA: Oh God I've seen so many people staring at their phone who will just walk right out into the street and never look up and it's not like they have some sort of amazing extra sensory vision cause the few times I shoulder bumped them they looked very confused like they had just realized other people exist.

Parking lots are just the worst places. Half-walking, half-driving, idiot shitheads vulturing to park three yards closer to the entrance, and car alarms and horns and those fucking locators and indicators bloop blooping constantly. All of those sounds are DISTRESS SIGNALS. When your car makes those noises, I should be allowed to smash your windows to rescue whoever is trapped in there or whatever. I have a general policy where I park fairly far out in parking lots usually, and off to the side, to avoid the cluster of idiots jockeying for the close-up spots, but even then, I'll come out and be blocked in by stupid Expeditions or some other monstrosities and have to back out totally blind.

Those things shouldn't even be street legal. Their bumpers are the wrong height, they take up too much space, block normal people's view, and their primary purpose is to protect incompetent assholes from their own shitty driving.

Grrr. I'm gonna go drive around and find people to fight.
