Watch the polls over the next few days. I don't think Palin is going to have any effect on them, and McCain's speech last night was so pedestrian and uninspiring the GOP convention overall likely won't do him much good either. The debates are next, starting on the 26th. In the meantime, Palin is going into hiding.
