Boy, that Chuck guy sure is a dumbass, the way Lucy keeps kicking his ass all the time! Maybe this is why he (and others like him) aspire to be more like Lucy?

I was just expressing my agreement with your impression that Charlie Brown "sure is a dumbass," and that maybe "this is why he (and others like him) aspire to be more like Lucy." I am supremely amused to learn that you and mickthinks "share similar sentiments" regarding mickthinks's odd metaphor.
