1. How'd you find the Freethought Forum?

I first heard of it from my friend Allan in chat, known as WinAce, who invited me to join the Internet Infidels Discussion Board and its "sister sites," Freethought Forum and Heathen Hangout in June 2004. I've been lurking here ever since, off and on. VM invited me to join tonight, so here I am.

2. Are you a member of any other online forums? Which?

If it's geared toward atheists I am probably registered on it, and if not, please tell me so I can go register. I am banned from IIDB and HH, and new to Raving Atheists and Gnawed.com, but have lurked long time on JREF. I'm also on several listservs on Yahoo Groups, mostly activism-oriented.

3. How do you feel about smilies (emoticons)?

They have their uses.

4. How do you feel about 3500+ smilies?

And I thought my hobby was annoying.

It began as a chatroom joke on MSN in March 2002 but when challenged that I didn't actually do anything but "sit in my chat room and complain," I set out to become an activist in church-state separation and atheist visibility groups. I prefer ELGS or Stopper, but you can call me Janice if you prefer.

12. What about your avatar?

Ooh, goody, I'll use it. It was made by some internet person for a humorous faux-product, and I asked if I could use the image. He said fine. His website is no longer up.

13. What is one thing about you that is worthy?

I already own an official pin.

Camping was awesome this past weekend, thanks Julie. We have beautiful weather here in South Jersey, unseasonably warm, but the leaves are still falling. Our camping season has been extended for another month.
