Default Any Game Developers Here?

While I was doing some actual work around the house  I invented a new game. I tentatively call it "Chance The Gardener" or "Whack That Weed!".

The basics are these: A multi-level game where the cursor becomes a weed pulling tool. Points are given for how many and how much of the weed is removed from the "garden". Each level can become increasingly difficult, with more weeds popping up, having deeper, harder to pull roots, having an obstacle course of actual flowers (lose points if you pull those), a big wind approaching to scatter even more weed seeds, rain storm, etc.....

Irony: I'd probably play this game, knowing the whole time that I'd have the same level of frustration if I were outside doing it for real and actually accomplishing something. :yup:

Anyone else have any brilliant ideas for games?

Hell, if closing pop-ups can be a game, why not pulling weeds? I think it would make a great one, particularly with all the level of difficulty bumps you've thought of. If I had even the first idea of how to put such a thing together, I'd totally do it.

Or you could combine it with "Jack" and drown them all in beer. :)

Beaurocracy: The Search for Closure

The game opens with the dream scene from Brazil where the rogue plumber gets covered in paperwork. The more he struggles the more paper sticks to him.

Basically this is a puzzle game. You are presented with a task and must

a) Find the right government department to assist you.
b) Understand the baffling paperwork.
c) Acquire the required information.
d) Get the paperwork to the proper department in time.

On the first level you only have to deal with one department and piece of paper. In successive levels the amount of paperwork, the departments you have to go to and the general insanity of the questions you are asked increases progressively.

Enjoy thrilling driving scenes as you race by land, sea and air to the Department of Useless Information's Mongolian Procurements office! Feel the thrill of trying to figure out whether you qualify as a B2.6 local registered tertiary resident or a long-term temporary service worker (C3.1)! Witness in amazement as your forms are lost, information is captured wrong, electricity is cut off and children are shot at the brink of closure!
