Elder Futhark Mafia
The runestones are restless in their cloth bag, clicking impatiently as the reader shifts them from hand to hand. It is a game. The game's outcome will be read in the stones. And yet, it may be more than a game as these things often are. The sky is dark and thunder rumbles in the distance, suggesting the workings of Thor in distant Aesir.
The reader drops the bag to the table and removes one etched stone.
Select one among your number to be your leader (mayor) and one to be cast upon the table first (lynched). Bold Blue indicates a mayor vote and Bold black indicates a lynch vote.

I can see 72 hour days is just an excuse to go 3 times as slow.

Jerome, what are the main reasons anyone votes for mayor around here?

Out of all the people on here I find it odd that you are asking Jerome.

Re: Elder Futhark Mafia - Day 1
Evening people. Great to see so many new faces.
MZ, there is no real reason behind a mayor vote here. We usually pick Crumb just because. But he isn't playing so my next pick would be slim but he has already voted for himself so I'll think about that for a while.
I can't remember a game here where the half vote has meant anything though. Did it happen last game or was it the time cutoff that decided the Daphne non-lynch.
Oh yeah, we never make Adem the mayor. Never.
Okay, it's late, I have to be up at 5:30 tomorrow and nothing has happened so far. I'll be back in the morning.
No mayor vote from me and no lynch vote.

Good Morning, everyone.
Just wanted to check in before work.
Though not enough to go on, I saw this post by diva as looking rather townish.

Funny, my immediate reaction was quite the opposite.
I asked Jerome because he was the first to mayor vote.
And I know of Jerome only vaguely. So, no, it;s not funny I ask that.

Ok, thanks.
Site specific memes are useful info.
What would happen if Adem was mayor?

Even though you asked Jerome, I am going to give you an answer.
They don't usually have mayors here, is what I gathered from the last game. Not that you would know that...but I find it weird that you would ask a specific player whom you don't know a lot about (and I already know that you do not know that much about Jerome, he has not played a lot at Ratz as far as I know) instead of asking the players whom you do know or even making it a general question. After you mayor voted. And then when I find it "odd" you vote me. FOS the hell out of this.

Jerome, I am so glad that you want me to be your mayor, but I must say a vote from you is weird. I don't recall you ever really mayor voting at the beginning of a game. Please explain.

Only one I think. Long time ago.

Morning Deadlokd.
Why do we never make Adem the mayor? Is there a story behind this?
