Also At least 50% of sexually active people will have genital HPV at some time in their lives.~CDC

So since we can prevent 50% of sexually active people getting a disease, and since most people become sexually active at some point in their lives, why wouldn't we make that mandatory like we do polio and other vaccines?

Vaccinations of all kinds are required by state laws (in all 50 states), unless you apply for an exemption. All 50 states offer medical exemptions, most offer religious exemptions, and some offer philosophical exemptions. Informed consent rules apply to vaxing, and parents must sign every time.

Vaccinations help prevent deadly diseases, I see no reason to treat any one of them differently. If a state makes it mandatory, like any other vax, and one can apply for exemption just as with any other vax, then what's the problem?
