I found a baby bunny butt - detached - in my yard this morning...
I was too busy making sure the dogs didn't find it to do anything with it. I am planning on taking a picture, but I can't guarantee it will be there in the evening, so no promises.
I also found another aluminium wedge. I did pick that up and threw it away.
I was singing a commercial jingle to Matlock yesterday, but I messed it up and said the wrong company, and then he sang, "You don't have to be lonely...with Stanley Steamer dot com."
Anyway, I have remembered that and larfed really hard like six discrete times since then, and now, a Stanley Steamer truck is right now parked right in front of the house.
I don't have a punchline or anything. I'm just telling you guys about it.
I suppose not many people will think that Take out from Cracker Barrel, while overnight camping in their parking lot will sound like a great Wedding anniversary dinner.
But, it does beat hospital food. (our fare for the last three Anniversaries)

I am in Canada, eh? I had intended to be here from last Monday to Friday, but things are going so well that I decided to extend my trip by almost a week (real, actual stakes, remember?), and I will return home on Thursday. Therefore I will be here for my birthday, and since I wrote 5 days on my immigration form, I guess I'm technically an illegal alien. I hope nobody calls Canadian ICE on me (or should I say NICE).
I broke down in the middle of nowhere. Total battery failure.
Had the engine warning light been on? Yes it, since January, and it's been serviced since then and they had A Story about something technical needing clearing that they couldn't do.
Had the battery warning light been on? Yes, now that you mention it. Did I pay proper attention to it? Um well no. Another light, so what.
Bearings on one of the pulleys for the combined alternator and AC pump belt were shot so there was no AC (which I noticed) and no charging of the battery (which I didn't). Not a standard so the AA were unable to repair it on the spot. Off to a service garage it went.
