We got another 8-9 inches of snow to top off the 14-15 inches we got last week. Granted, the volume of the existing snow had dropped about half, meaning that this new snow merely put us back where we were last week. And, once again, just like last week's storm, we're going for a record low temperature of -6ºF tomorrow morning. Oh-yea. The old record for annual snowfall was broken by this most recent mess, a record that has stood since 1924. Oh-yea.

We got another 1-3 yesterday but it fell so quickly that the commute was instantly locked down. It took me an hour and a half to travel 23 miles to my home. I've been called a speed demon because of how quickly I made it home.
Now I'm debating whether to drag my carcass back out there. The Interstates are moving but I doubt my ability to reach them.

3. Snow bank at the intersection. Unless you're in a high van or truck, you're driving blind out into traffic. Yay.

5. The HUGE mountain of snow that the bucket loader moved to the side of the building right up to the side stairs, that'll probably still be melting come next winter.

10. Coming up on the snow banks on either side of my driveway. I back out reeeeally slow and hope that no one is coming too fast to stop before they take the back half of my car with them.

I like to watch it , catch it on my tongue , hike in it , make snow people with it , play with the in it, and I even enjoy shoveling it (the first few snow falls anyway) .
Snow has an awesome smell to it too.

It's been in the 60s and close to 70 degrees in the past four days. The snow is almost gone except in the shady places and where there were huge piles of it.
