Having the right to think something is about the only right I have around here. Because if I speak it, it gets thrown into the shithole. Does anybody around here know of a decent forum that isn't run by status quo supporting fags? Where somebody is ACTUALLY free so say what they think? If so, I would like to hear about it.

That's how you know it's propaganda rather than a genuine attempt at discussion. Ignore all basic debate principles like providing sources for claims. Freak the fuck out when your audience isn't as big as you'd like.

What's the count on "I thought this was a freeTHOUGHT forum" meltdowns now? It's got to be in the dozens.

Anyway, what people don't seem to understand is that the principle of free speech doesn't actually require any private citizens to give your views even a cursory hearing, or even to give you a platform to express them. It's particularly amusing when asshats like this one fail to understand that, since if his authoritarianism were to be enacted as political policy it's entirely likely that our free speech laws would fall by the wayside. It's gotten to the point where yammering too much about "free speech" is pretty reliably an indicator of someone with racist, sexist, homophobic and/or transphobic views who wants a platform to spew those views without anyone criticising them for it (and in many cases, they also erroneously think it gives them the right to harass or threaten women and minorities without repercussion). I've got news for you: the principle of free speech gives others just as much right to ignore or criticise you as you have to spew your venom, and there is no right to harass or threaten anyone.

Basically, Randall sums it up well:

My goodness, dear, it seems to Flo that if you were a competent, self-respecting Nazi, you would have overrun the entire forum with a blitzkrieg of posts and in a few days brought the whole place to heel, dictating armistice terms. Instead you got confined to the Cloaca to make a few whiny threads that quickly petered out without any of the promised clit mashing.

It must be kind of embarrassing for you. It’s as if Hitler was about to get up to the Dickens and invade Poland to start World War II when suddenly his mother showed up and made him take off his silly swastika armband and his uniform, and then sent him to his room without dinner.
