What do you mean by "mostly alone"? That you don't have people agreeing with you in print as to your assessments? Or is this about thanking? In either case, it might do well to look at *why* people seldom tend to agree with you for attacking. (It's not a conspiracy, it is a sort of consensus- but not by arrangement, contrary to what you have voiced suspicion-wise before.)

Since I've been back on this board all I've seen is one or two off-colour remarks, some casual cynicism and some genuinely funny stuff from ITSOZ. Am I missing something?

Because this looks more like everyone having a go at the unpopular kid on the school playground just for shits and giggles, rather than legitimate annoyance, to me. It makes for very unpleasant reading.

I suppose I don't really get the level of reaction either. I really, really don't understand why people don't use the ignore feature if someone is so annoying to them. But we've been over that before.

Sure it's annoying when ITSOZ makes unsupported generalizations and then refuses to back them up in any way, shape or form. But aren't you all used to it by now? Plus, not everything he says and does is "teh eval!" or even "teh stoop1d!". Sometimes he even has a genuine point buried amongst the oversimplifications and sweeping statements. I do think part of the trouble is the way a very few people here seem to find it nearly mandatory to snipe at him no matter what he says. Relax, lower your expectations (especially when it comes to backing up ridiculous statements) and take everything he says with 3 grains of salt.

It's up to the participants to decide how the conversations go, I wouldn't want to tell them how to interact with ITSOZ anymore than I'd want a thread like this to end up silencing him.

I got burned by that approach already. I ended up being a condescending pompous ass to him, worse yet, with no good results.

He is the way he is, I can't control his actions, but I certainly can control my reactions.

And believe me, I do.

But wei yau, in this case he was "called out" for something he didn't even do. Casually mentioning a thread in one other thread is not spamming. And the fact that he was "called out" for "spamming" on the most unconvincing scrap of evidence suggests to me that this thread is not a rational, proportionate or well-considered response to anything he has recently done, just a bunch of people getting their jollies being bitchy (in a laughing-at-you kind of way) for no other reason except to pass the time.

Not really my cup of tea.

Farren, nobody except for the OP has suggested that he is a spammer. The first page is all people rebutting the claim, and Zeke himself raised the chimera of people here wanting him dead, which again, I posted to rebut. I'm not getting any kind of jolly whatsoever out of it nor did I post just to pass the time. My inclination in these matters is to post nothing at all, an inclination for which Zeke himself has repeatedly berated me, as it happens.
