Default Turns out this wasn't actually true

“We can ignore reality, but we cannot ignore the consequences of ignoring reality.”

― Ayn Rand

Based on the completely insane reactions, or lack of reactions, by the people ignoring reality, it seems they can also ignore the consequences of reality as well.

While it's easy to focus on politics, because extreme examples are abundant, like North Korea, China, Iran, the failed communist countries and various other fascists dictatorships, it's also true for more mundane things as well.

And as with most things, that which annoys us greatly, can usually be found in our own behavior as well. Which a philosophical way to look at these matters.

I'm not speaking of criminal or violent behaviors, that's not the same thing at all.

I'm reminded of the great line from the cop that busted HOUSE

“Transhumanism” is a blanket term given to the school of thought that refuses to accept traditional human limitations such as death, disease and other biological frailties.
