Every once in a while that sort of thing does work though.

My parents are good friends with a family in Ohio named Smith. When we moved to North Carolina, my third-grade teacher was also named Smith. Turns out they were related!

A bit early to say but it seems to be working fine so far. But then again, public transport was already very cheap so I don't see this being a big incentive to switch away from the car.

We'll see in the coming months, I guess.
