Tip for lisarea: Draw a diagonal line down the side of the stack of punched cards you store your phone program on. That way, when you drop the box of cards, you'll be able to sort them back into the correct alignment and order.

We've talked about this before, cupcake. That jizz-encrusted stuffed animal of yours is not an actual human being. Accordingly, you cannot marry it.

Who wants to bet if this "future wife" is real, AML always comes first, in everything in their relationship?

I think to be grammatically correct it should be, 'my future wife and I' as the happy couple are the subject of the sentence.

If the pair were the object of the sentence, as in 'everyone was staring at my future wife and me' then me would be correct.

An easy way to remember whether 'I' or 'me' is correct is to remove the additional noun and see if it reads right.

'I am going for a curry' is correct; 'me am going for a curry' or 'me is going for a curry' both sound wrong.

'That curry is for I' sounds wrong; 'that curry is for me' is correct.

The so-called libertarian moment is engineered by the Christian right

Quote:
Unfortunately, to the extent there is something that can be called a “libertarian moment” in the Republican Party and the conservative movement, it owes less to the work of the Cato Institute than to a force genuine libertarians clutching their copies of Atlas Shrugged are typically horrified by: the Christian Right. In the emerging ideological enterprise of “constitutional conservatism,” theocrats are the senior partners, just as they have largely been in the Tea Party Movement, even though libertarians often get more attention.

(...)

[T]he line between theocrats and libertarian Republicans is very, very faint. Why do you think they've bastardized the concept of "Religious Liberty" to mean the right to inflict your religion on others? It appeals to people who fashion themselves as libertarians but really only care about their taxes, guns and weed. Those are the non-negotiable items. Everything else is on offer.
RISING!

:fixed:

It's perfectly fluent English, albeit colloquial, to say "me and someone else" did something. In French, they do it that way in the standard language: "Marcel et moi allons."

This is actually a case where AML is not making common 2nd language errors.

"Marcel et moi" would of course be "someone else and me (moi)."
