Re: Brexit EU referendum polling stations.
Sir Humphrey: Minister, Britain has had the same foreign policy objective for at least the last five hundred years: to create a disunited Europe. In that cause we have fought with the Dutch against the Spanish, with the Germans against the French, with the French and Italians against the Germans, and with the French against the Germans and Italians. Divide and rule, you see. Why should we change now, when it's worked so well?
Hacker: That's all ancient history, surely?
Sir Humphrey: Yes, and current policy. We had to break the whole thing up, so we had to get inside. We tried to break it up from the outside, but that wouldn't work. Now that we're inside we can make a complete pig's breakfast of the whole thing — set the Germans against the French, the French against the Italians, the Italians against the Dutch... The Foreign Office is terribly pleased; it's just like old times.
Hacker: But surely we're all committed to the European ideal?
Sir Humphrey: [chuckles] Really, Minister.
Hacker: If not, why are we pushing for an increase in the membership?
Sir Humphrey: Well, for the same reason. It's just like the United Nations, in fact; the more members it has, the more arguments it can stir up, the more futile and impotent it becomes.
Hacker: What appalling cynicism.
Sir Humphrey: Yes... We call it diplomacy, Minister.

David seems to be having some worries about finding cheap labour.
David is tired of being pushed around by Luxembourg. (lol)

I know you're entirely familiar with the background, but in case anyone else isn't, "create a hostile environment for immigrants" was Theresa May's trademark policy when Home Secretary.
What do you know ... it has a Wikipedia page: Home Office hostile environment policy - Wikipedia
And look ... so does this: Strong and stable - Wikipedia

I suspect, along with some of the commenters, that this person was not a "passerby" but specifically hangs around places like the Houses of Parliament where TV interviews are being held, and deliberately tries to create arguments which she films ("vertically!" - outraged commenter) and then shares for followers and probably money.
I also agree with the commenter(s) who said that the "if you're not with us, with this very specific interpretation of us, then you're the enemy" is a classic fascist tactic.
How should this MP have dealt with this agent provocateur? While she clearly doesn't have any intent to participate in democracy, just saying "I have no wish to talk to you" only feeds her fake-anger.
I suppose a punch would be a bad idea. Throwing milkshakes is the new thing ( [28], [29], [30], [31], Lactose Against Intolerance, The Revolution Will Be Pasteurised) but might not be the best tactic for an MP.
What should a public figure do against social media fascists? What could a mild-mannered private citizen (such as, I don't know, me) do?

Re: Brexit EU referendum polling stations.
This joke (if it is one) works (if it does) by contrasting multiple levels of question: Is using eggs and milk a form of violence upon chickens and cows? (the vegan perspective) Is using Molotov cocktails on humans a form of violence? (umm ... yes) Is using eggs and milkshakes on fascists a form of violence? (it kind of is) And do they deserve it? Is there a better way of expressing protest? If protest doesn't help and the fascists win would that result in violence upon everyone else?
There, now I have violently dissected the joke and killed it.
