Re: Miscellany
Thanks, your picture was bigger, too. I fixed it just to be thorough, though. I wish I could find a good clip of Eddie Izzard going on about evil ducks, because that bit is stuck in my head right now.

Re: Miscellany
Yesterday I bought a 5lbs bag of Mandarin oranges from TraderJoes that's bigger than my head! As I fought with peeling one I stumbled upon the idea of degloving the orange.
Run a knife around the peel vertically. Then use the tip to separate the peel from the fruit under each side. After that you can use your fingers under the skin while spinning it to pop it off in a nice half cup. It's quick and easy.

Re: Miscellany
Pity it wouldn't work as well with a big navel, at least not in my experience. It would make candied orange peel easier to make.

Re: Miscellany
So I was reading this thing and I got to the part where it says "The GOP Platform states that the unborn shall have full citizenship rights" and I had an epiphany...
ANCHOR FETUSES!!
Get a tourist visa, go to Disneyworld for your honeymoon, knock up your bride, and BAM! You're in. I think we need to explore this further.
