I think a good setup would be three mafia (set, no recruit), a serial killer, a doctor, one sane cop, and one insane cop.

Re: Mafia III Signup
I initially intended to limit this game to 15 players, but it's flexible. I just thought 20 players was too much last game, but I actually think ~17 would be fine. If we get more than that many signups though maybe we can have two games.
Actually, I'm just going to set the limit on this game to 17 players. If someone comes along wanting to play after that, they'll have to start their own game and sign-up thread.

Re: Mafia III Signup
Actually I've changed my mind. I'm going to close sign-ups for this right now, at 16.
Anyone else who wants to play should consider starting their own game.

serial killer= vigilante?
and is the insane cop always wrong or only sometimes wrong?

Re: Mafia III Signup
You know what I think would be cool? 2 opposing mob families. 2 mob for each family.
I think that way, a bit of a larger group would be in order, otherwise there would be 4 deaths a day. (1 lynch, 1 vigilante/serial killer, and 2 mob hits).

Re: Mafia III Signup
I'm willing to consider making it a two family game, especially if more players want in. I'm reluctant to add much complexity, though, since right now we have at least 3 brand n00bs and 6-8 who've only played one or two games. So if more people want to play, speak up here and if we get 3-4 more I'll probably go for a two family open setup with basic roles.

Re: Mafia III Signup
We don't need 2 competing families this game, but I think it'd be cool to consider for a future game.

Serila killer is kinda like a viglante, but he works to kill both the town and the mafia. He's kinda like a scum group of one, in some games he views as guilty when viewed by a cop, in other he doesn't to give him an advantage since he's on a team by himself. For the town it's not that different, just lynch the people killing people.
An insane cop is always wrong. Basically the cop won't know whethe he's getting the right info or not until someone he viewed dies. Basically their not very useful until that, but afte rthat they know what all their results mean and you've got two cops workng to catch scum, which offsets the two nightkills that anti-town roles have.

With two mob families, we could go with two doctors. The incresead protection plus the fact that scum will try and kill each other should limit the number of deaths.
