So far, there's just this guy:
I still want a Mussolini, for those occasions when Godwinning isn't indicated.

Re: Some smilie wishes
I need a :watering: smilie - std yellow guy watering garden, or pot plant. Depending on the artist, grass could grow, flowers could grow, triffids could grow and eat him; a Beanstalk(TM) could grow.

Well, we've got this guy . I made him back before my breakthrough, though, so maybe I can spruce him up.

is cute but doesn't turn up in a search for 'water'. If only there were a way to fix that.

Re: Some smilie wishes
Well since I am a rather unprolific smiley maker I will put some of my ideas out here for any smiliesmiths paying attention.
One was the previously mentioned act of arson on the logo. I tried my hand at this originally but was unable to make anything of it. (OK, so it was laziness. Sue me.) My original vision was a smiley that poors gasoline on and then throws a lit match on it.
Another I had an idead for was a 'manly hug'. Two gentleman smilies that however uncomfortablely manage to express there (purely nonsexual) love for one another with a pat on the back hug followed quickly by paranoid furtive glances and maybe some coughing.
Maybe a more talented arteest wants to take a crack at one.

That's gay. The entire membership of the board, and all the slurp spiders and human guests, wonder* if you are not in fact uncomfortable and paranoid, not to mention coughing.

And all the spiders wonder

<--- for when it's over your own head
or
<--- for pointing & laughing at same happening to someone else
I was sorta lost by that last bit, too.

Why don't they come up when I search for 'head' or 'over'?

Re: Some smilie wishes
I got the second one on a search for 'head'. I think they both come up for 'lost'.
Of course, I already knew they were there to begin with, having been the one who asked for them.

Sorry, y'all. I have this problem with keywording: the arcane words come easy but the most basic ones totally escape me. Fixed now.

I have noticed that there have been no new smilie updates. Where are the new smilies?

We've got Simpsons smilies, and Tick smilies (I had no idea!); would it be possible to get a Hank Hill as well? I've got some more word-balloon ideas.

Re: Some smilie wishes
I was watching and commenting on the smiley championship polls and got sucked in by the Roman motif around here, thinking it'd be a great to have clickable thumbs up/thumbs down icons on our polls. Then, of course, that took my mind to the gladitorial competitions in ancient Rome....and I, of course, started looking for a gladiator smiley...
No go...
Is there one, trapped in arcane key words?
Or, is this forum lacking entirely in gladiator smilies? There should be at least the basic two: short sword with arm shield and trident and net.
What gives?
If we don't have then we need :glad8er1: and :glad8er2:

Actually, my first thought was :glad8her:, but I thought that hit a little close to home. That's where the "e" came from, anyway....
Now that I look at it again, I'd say that we could do with :glad8r1: and :glad8r2: and so on up to :glad8r99:.
