Can you ignore someone in just one thread?

I don't mind this poster, but I would like to ignore them in a particular thread. Is that possible?

It's all or nothing, I'm afraid. You could turn on placeholders, in which case you could easily click to see ignored posts in other threads.

That is a good idea and a decent work around
