I too think PN does have a way out of it, but it'll take accurate play to win or draw, but similar demands are made of me to win it (I think I would have an easier time playing for a draw).
I'm half tempted to sit down with you and a bag of popcorn to see how this one turns out.

I can't say I'm going to miss him. His racism and anti-Jewish bigotry just overwhelmed everything else for me. Normally when a great chess player goes, one feels sad that they won't be giving the world any more great games, but he hadn't played anything at all since the match with Spassky in 1992, and didn't play for 20 years before then, and by 1992 the effect of so much inactivity was showing in his chess.
I much prefer my chess players noble and humanitarian, like Emanuel Lasker.
