Yes, but we are only on an adult's page 2 in a week long day. I find the idea of warm-up lynch votes kinda disturbing. In the environment where I mostly play, putting down a goofy early vote that doesn't have a good rationale can get you lynched.

I know you guys do it here, so I'm trying not to get excited about the votes that are apparently baseless. I'll put a vote down when someone looks scummy to me.

The way I see it early voting gets the conversation going, which leads to better rationales. In your usual environment how does that happen without votes?

oh, people do put down votes. they usually have some sort of reason, though. If someone is known to be quiet and skate, they may get an early vote to ensure they participate.

The vote on bey to pressure him to read his role PM strikes me as a good early vote. The vote on wei because he hasn't played in a while doesn't make much sense.

No it isn't. I haven't tried to drag in anyone's play in from another game (one that is still underway for that matter) to incriminate their current behavior. you could try to say poking fun at bey's self-voting meta, but I hadn't accussed him of playing differently than he has in another game.
