Warm-up vote, you think?

His posts seem a bit fluffy. I've seen him in only one other game (still in play on rationalia) and he was not fluffy on there. I think a little bit of pressure from three votes might have been worthwhile.

Yes, but we are only on an adult's page 2 in a week long day. I have not yet seen anything more than fluff with the exception of our GM's postings, which I do plan to comb through more closely for clues. I will report back with any important findings, lyrical. (May I ask your handle at rationalia?)

Re: A Nancy Drew Mafia Mystery
lyrical is not too sweet to sledge.
I find the idea of warm-up lynch votes kinda disturbing. In the environment where I mostly play, putting down a goofy early vote that doesn't have a good rationale can get you lynched.
I know you guys do it here, so I'm trying not to get excited about the votes that are apparently baseless. I'll put a vote down when someone looks scummy to me.

The way I see it early voting gets the conversation going, which leads to better rationales. In your usual environment how does that happen without votes?

oh, people do put down votes. they usually have some sort of reason, though. If someone is known to be quiet and skate, they may get an early vote to ensure they participate.
The vote on bey to pressure him to read his role PM strikes me as a good early vote. The vote on wei because he hasn't played in a while doesn't make much sense.

Thanks for the welcome, wei! You're always so sweet. What is RH?

RH = River Heights, the setting for this game.
Also, a reference to "Welcome to the OC, bitch" The O.C. was a really popular show for like a season or two.

Hmm as to applying pressure based on early voting, it all comes out in the wash. Though, scum is more likely to not forge out with a new vote IMO.

Unfair? It is inevitable to get a feel for others' games. Your rationale for voting is pot-kettle-black, you know...

Re: A Nancy Drew Mafia Mystery
No it isn't. I haven't tried to drag in anyone's play in from another game (one that is still underway for that matter) to incriminate their current behavior. you could try to say poking fun at bey's self-voting meta, but I hadn't accussed him of playing differently than he has in another game. This isn't a revenge vote, by the way, but scum feel free to call it an "OMGUS" if you'd like. I'm eager to see who would support lyrical's crooked reasoning.
