Default How is Big Government regulating us to death TODAY?

Goddamn government regulations hurting these businesses just because of deathly contamination and actual deaths? The free market could sort this out.

Without such federal and state efforts, the outbreaks could have continued undetected for much longer.

The swift, contrite reaction of Blue Bell and Sabra executives might also have been influenced by a new get-tough attitude of the FDA, the Department of Agriculture and the Department of Justice, which have begun prosecuting violators of food safety regulations with a degree of vigor not seen before the passage of the FSMA. I'd far rather retch to death from rotten food than be strangled by the tyranny of health promoting federal food regulation. Give me salmonella or give me delf!

Anti-vaxers and anti-regulation libertarians are the same, everyone's all so happy to give up their safeties because those safeties have rendered those things moot in comparison. No one really understands the fact at one point the FDA didn't exist and the public begged for them to be put together after the many large poisonings.

They probably think all these news stories about recalls are happening because the companies are choosing to inform the public, you know, because they have our best interests at heart. I doubt it even occurs to them that they wouldn't know about any of this if the government weren't forcing companies to disclose it.

Eggs and chicken prices are going to go up because the government is murdering chickens by the millions in what looks like FEMA camps.

You can't even catch it from birds, or so they say. So why kill them? Let the weak die off and the strong survive.

If you put bird flu chickens in chicken nuggets would it really make them more dangerous to eat than they already are? They scrap up the stuff off the floor to make those anyway.
