I played catch with Auto-Kitty for half an hour last night.
She was leaning against the apartment door. I would throw her favorite stuffed toy onto her back. She would grab it with her teeth and throw it back in my general direction. Once she didn't get much action on it, so she flicked it the rest of the way with her nose.

Holy Crap!
So, I'm sitting here tapping away at my keyboard and Auto-Kitty is rolling around beneath my feet trying to get my attention. When I pay attention to her, she runs to the entranceway to the apartment where she seems to store the stuff toys she has claimed as her own (there are 3 of them, the other cats don't bother them much, because they belong to Auto). Now she likes to throw them, and she likes for me to throw them, and also the entranceway to the apartment is where I am most encouraged to pet her.
But at the moment, I am tapping away on my keyboard, so I only give Auto the token pat and when she goes away I don't follow.
Bout 10 minutes later, Auto's favorite stuff toy comes arcing through the air and lands on the desk right in front of the computer screen.
Apparently, she is losing her patience with me.

You know what I *do* like? I like living with Joesix - he's the best. He does the vast majority of the cooking, plays nice with the kids, and is really sweet to me every day. I can talk to him about every old thing and he is extra good at kissing. EXTRA good. I love every day with him and we're in a wee one-bedroom apartment, so you know it has to be good!

Okay, so when I told the D&D group that I wanted to try my homebrew a month or so back, 3 dodged the game that day, and I roped at least one in by asking him in a way that would have been awkward to refuse. I ended up with 3 players, and a 4th tried the game in a later session.
...all who tried it have been eager to play it again, one has expressed a clear preference for it over the regular D&D campaign and another actively promoted the game on local meetup groups.
...and the campaign journal seems to be popular on rpg.net.
It's a good day to be a geek.

The requirements and functional design documents that I've produced over the last year are being used by both Michigan and my company as examples of best practices.
