Jerome, what are the main reasons anyone votes for mayor around here?
More for the extra 1/2 vote for a townish player as opposed to a seer view. In the last game there was a weird mechanic in which the mayor gained coins which could purchase specials.

Jerome, I am so glad that you want me to be your mayor, but I must say a vote from you is weird. I don't recall you ever really mayor voting at the beginning of a game. Please explain.
The odds are that you are town and I trust your instincts. There have been a couple of games recently where the mayor vote mattered and I didn't do much about it, I am trying to work the mayor strategy into my thinking from the beginning as opposed to an after thought.

Diva and Deadlokd's responses are at odds. Diva says you guys don;t do mayors. Deadlokd's has said who gets to be mayor and who doesn't.

I said, FROM WHAT I GATHERED FROM THE LAST GAME THEY DON'T TYPICALLY DO MAYORS.
Adam inferred that his was the first game where they did them and said that they do not do them that often but when they do it is Crumb which is why Adam voted for Crumb as mayor in the last game.
DL and I are not at odds, there is just more to the story.
And good fucking grief. Can we not spend all day agonsing over the freaking mayor vote cos we did that in the last game and it did not turn out so well.

MZ, there is no real reason behind a mayor vote here. We usually pick Crumb just because. But he isn't playing so my next pick would be slim but he has already voted for himself so I'll think about that for a while.
I can't remember a game here where the half vote has meant anything though. Did it happen last game or was it the time cutoff that decided the Daphne non-lynch.
We don't usually have mayors at all because we don't need them in untimed games.
