I'm not surprised the "richest" cities have the worst homeless/drug/criminal problems
Willie Sutton said the reason for robbing banks was: “Because that's where the money is.”
The book about him, Where the Money Was echoed this sentiment.
It's no surprise the criminals, beggars, drug addicts and the homeless are taking a shit on the sidewalk in wealthy areas. Setting up tent cities and enjoying the climate in California, Phoenix or Denver.
Or in any liberal run city.
If a city or state hands out free money, drugs and won't arrest you for crime, it's no surprise where the criminals will end up.

It's no surprise that the richest cities have high homelessness, because (in the US) they're also the cities with the highest housing costs.
That's the main cause of that.

a one bedroom apartment averages 2000/month in Colorado, these days. And we're not talking about Vail, or Aspen.

Let's add a million more people to the equation! No, make it 18 million more people!
What's the worst that could happen?

Capitalists become a consumer product?

Good point. Now let's bring a million more desperate poor people to the city. So the wealthy can pay shit wages. That should work out really well.
