i don't understand roman numerals maybe?

This... doesn't seem right to me?

Like, I don't understand those leading Xs. I have found at least one roman numeral converter which seems to accept "IV" with an overline on both of them, but not "MV~", but I can't make sense of the leading Xs at all.

If it were just MV~CCLXIV, I'd read that as 4264.

no, it's a standard roman numeral thing! you just draw a line over a thing to multiply by 1000. i just somehow failed to see the lines over the leading Xs in her post count.
