Default A revolution in thought

Hi everyone,

I wanted to share with the members a book that is a true revolution in thought because this knowledge leads to an alteration of environmental conditions, making war and crime an impossibility, and therefore redefines what was possible at an earlier time. I hope this brings interest because it is absolutely and positively a breakthrough that has yet to be uncovered.

Is it the Bible? The Koran? The Book of Mormon? The Baghavadgita? The Veda?

Actually, no, it is not in any of these texts. This is not a religious work whatsoever.

I totally understand your skepticism, but please refrain from making premature conclusions, as best as you can. Believe me when I tell you I know how difficult this will be given the trolls (I hate that word) that come online.

This is all true based on conscience, reason and science, not whether Dr. Goldsilverbergowitz gives me permission to speak the truth. Indeed, considering their track record of promoting hatred for conscience, reason, and science in schools at taxpayers' expense, which is all too consistent with their own irrational hatred for gentiles, those with names similar to Goldsilverbergowitz should be watched closely by people who are genuinely in favor of truth, beauty, and right. For starters, they should be required to practice complete financial transparency. Power, even the power of money, is never enough to make anyone right. Aryans can understand this quite readily. Can you?

Share it or don't share it, but quit playing Mysterious Prophetess. Why did you pick this forum unless you had reason to believe there might be some interest?

And don't mind Sophia, she has a brain injury or mental illness of some kind and is also a racist.

Apparently the author died 20 years ago and some woman named Janet owns the rights and is trying to drum up interest

It has something to do with determinism

Here's another discussion
Free will versus determinism
Quote:
The author passed away in 1991 and I compiled 7 of his books. If you are interested in learning more, the book that discusses this new definition is online for free, so this is not an advertisement. If you do link on, please read the first two chapters before moving on, or else the book will sound like a fairy tale.
You can buy it for 41.00 Amazon.com: Decline and Fall of All Evil: The Most Important Discovery of Our Times (9781553953302): Seymour Lessans: Books

Oh and bonus, you apparently had 3100 posts at the old iidb forum on this subject around 3-4 years ago

ETA: Look peacegirl, you seem like a nice enough person who believes she has something to offer the world. I would suggest that you start by posting the essay online somewhere other than someone else's forum, like a totally free and easy to use blog, for example. If you then want to advertise the book, you can just link to your blog.

Ladyshea is not being bitter, she's being cynical. You've mentioned the trolls that come online. People turning up and pronouncing a mystery without any personal introduction are quite common too, and routinely disappointing.

Also, asking for some commitment to interest without any evidence from you is arrogant, if not rude. (I'll grant you are being polite.)

Let's just say I've been around the block a few times with opportunistic pseudoscience pushers looking to profit as well as True Believers in Revolutionary Ideas That Will Change the World! and I don't much care for either.

Your Internet history indicates you might be a True Believer, but your reluctance to present and discuss the Revolutionary Idea openly or on your own indicates either an agenda, or ignorance of the subject matter.

That you haven't managed, in several years, to create a website or blog (at least I was unable to find one) to put the book on for free indicates I don't even know what. Are you still sending readers to someone else's forum to read the book? You don't need to seeing as how I did it for you now

Can you simply start a thread topic in the Philosophy forum here at :ff: with a summary of the Revolutionary Idea regarding free will vs determinism and discuss it openly without requiring participants read the 500 page book? Is the idea so difficult to understand that it can't simply be explored and discussed between living humans?

I get that, but please don't put everyone in the same category, or else you'll lose the baby with the bathwater.

Who was asking for a commitment? I was only sharing a book that is online. I never expected the caustic reaction I got.

You are getting the reaction you are because you didn't just say: "I think this book contains important ideas and would love to discuss them " AFTER having introduced yourself and participated here at :ff: a bit.

You came in like a spammer or drive-by nutter

My internet history is more of a reflection of the understandable skepticism that is a protective mechanism due to all the phoney claims that are out there. It has nothing to do with me or this book.

Your conclusions are completely off base. I haven't put up a website because I wasn't ready. That has nothing to do with anything.

No, I will not reduce the principles of this book. I am not requiring people to read the entire book, although it is incredibly interesting once they get through the first two chapters, which are fundamental.

You weren't ready? You are, instead, ready to let someone's forum host it for you? You were ready to publish it and charge 41.00 for a paperback? That makes no sense.

As I said, I think you're probably a nice person, but you're approaching this all wrong. You received similar receptions elsewhere it looks like, doesn't that tell you something?

Put it out there and let it get hashed over, we don't employ skepticism as a protective mechanism against phony stuff or whatever you think is going on.

ETA: I am not angry at all, in fact I am amused. You need to learn to take the hits that are bound to come when you have new ideas.
