I see from a recent article in the Smithsonian's Air & Space magazine that airports are already starting to use flying drones for....bird herding.

Yes, they are trying it as a means of keeping avian flocks from going where they can become engine pate or windshield splatters.

Tokyo police do indeed have drone-catching drones with nets. I think this report is made up, but still lol.
