It's like we're trying to see who will blink first.

Poor slim. I know it ain't over yet, but it looks like this heads-up will require more hands than all the previous hands to-date.

Seriously, thanks for a fun game. I'm sure Mr. Math Brainiac ceptimus is just waiting for the perfect hand to take all my money.

I just hope he's gentle.

So, let's start a side-wager.

Which will happen first?

A new American Idol is crowned or this game will end?

Seriously, hope you have a good one, ceptimus. I'm really enjoying this game.

And a big fat special thanks to slim for running this puppy. I couldn't do it, I don't have the patience or the werewithal.

Thank you all for a wonderful game, even ceptimus! But, an extra-special thanks to slim for running this game.

Now I am going to retire and take all my winnings to Tahiti!

Well done wei!

I think ceptimus went all-in hoping you were just buying the pot. Unfortunately for him, you had a hand that was going to call him. You had too many draws to not call.

Indeed, it was a good hand and having such a comfortable chip lead didn't hurt.

I don't know if ceptimus thought I was trying to buy the pot with a minimum bet, I actually suspect he was trying to steal the pot from me by not folding for a change.

I've learned a lot playing this game and hope to use it to my advantage in real life.

I'm quitting my job and joining the professional poker tour.

Congratulations wei yau. :trophy:

I figured I wouldn't last many more hands - I was losing a good chunk of my remaining :fflorin: on the blinds each time. I decided it was time to bluff...

Thanks to slimhady2357 for running the game so professionally.

I don't know, I'd feel guilty for playing another one, since I certainly won't be willing or able to actually run one.

Are you offering to run the game, Crumb?

Will slim play this one, since he didn't get to play the last one?

I was considering running the game. I'd make sure you wouldn't have to suffer the guilt of winning two in a row. :muahaha:

I ran the first one and slimshady2357 won it.

I thought it was a tradition that the winner ran the next game. :P

Heh, you don't want me to run the next one. Trust me.

Actually, don't trust me. I can't be trusted. That's why you don't want me to run the next one.

How do you guys do it anyway? Do you have some kind of randomizer utility? Or do you just deal out real cards and post accordingly? I'm way too lazy for the latter.

I did it using a real deck of cards and used a spreadsheet to keep track of who had what cards and what chips.

I'm sure there is software out there that would do that part for you, but the biggest part of the work is sending all the PMs and I doubt there is any existing software that would automate that task.

And the heavy lifting for calculating the chip counts. That's too much work, too.

I just used a real deck of cards and dealt out the hands. I then PM'd them to everyone (that is the hardest part when there are 10 people), then I would PM myself with the community cards so that I could post from work.

I just always quoted my own last post and added/subtracted the chip counts at that time. It's all a bit of a pain, but not too bad. I always felt bad when I couldn't check the thread for a day or more and everyone was waiting on me

I wouldn't playing a game next, but if there is some good interest and no one wants to deal, I don't mind dealing again either.
