Knowledge Is Not Everything
Look at the Universe, it's dumb as a board and doesn't even know it exists.
Yet there are those silly humans who insist the same rules should also apply to them, that is, until it's time to boast about how one is so much more knowledgeable than the other. Go figure ...

What, is that a threat? How do you know I posted it just to incite you?

What, have you been following me? I was just looking at that earlier today. No kidding!
I was just looking at this too ... or, at least the part where it shows a full view of her butt.

Title: Knowledge Is Not Everything
Assertion that the Universe is unintelligent and not sentient, followed by author's declaration that this is a true statement.
Assertion that despite this, there are humans of sub-category silly who insist that the same rules should apply to them. It is not clear what same rules are referred to here, as no rules have been stated.
Assertion that the same rules are not then demanded when humans of the sub-category silly engage in boasting of their fields of knowledge, in contrast to others who lack their attainment.
Command to try and figure out why this is, followed by an
expression of ignorance regarding underlying reasons as to why this is on the part of the writer of the OP.
Is this about Angakuk pointing out to you that addended is not a word? Because one of my rules is that if I invoke the Universe to counter the identification of a grammatical error, then I am petulant and dizzy.

Why do you think being conscious is such a big deal? Is it because you struggle with it so much?

Why do you insist on making such a big deal about everything I have to say?

Re: Knowledge Is Not Everything
By the way, I would kiss Kari Byron's ass any day of the week! Why should anybody be surprised? ... I just generally don't go around doing that sort of thing.
Oh, do they have a smiley around here for something that is "tasty" and requires "licking?"

Is this similar to starting a thread about how the universe isn't sentient and that knowledge isn't everything, when someone points out a grammatical error? Because you've made it a big deal. Also, what are the same rules you refer to in the OP?

Perhaps you should go back and reread the thread? ... or, at least where I stepped in and Angakuk replied. You might want to read my last couple of posts as well.

Yeah, that was where you made a grammatical error, and Angakuk pointed it out, and then you quoted Wiktionary because no online dictionary actually has the word addended, and Angakuk corrected you again, and you started a thread in Philosophy about how Knowledge Isn't Everything and invoked the universe.
Did I miss something?

Re: Knowledge Is Not Everything
I have been told, over and over again, yes, right here on these very forums, that the Universe behaves very much like a machine ... in the sense that it is not sentient and doesn't think. Need I say more?

Re: Knowledge Is Not Everything
So... that's a rule? And someone decided to brag about knowledge and in doing so suggested the universe was sentient and smart?

Maybe it doesn't really matter, and I've said all I'm going to say about it over there ... unless of course Angakuk has something he would like to add, and say it over here?

Re: Knowledge Is Not Everything
Maybe you don't have any idea what it is you're talking about either? Other than of course that Angakuk is a big jerk for pointing out your grammatical error and thinks he's a big 'ol smarty-pants? And that your ego bruises like an over-ripe peach?
Because when you invoke the universe and reference rules that are central to understanding your OP, it is understandably too much to be asked what those rules are, I mean why make a lick of sense when not making a lick of sense suffices?

Re: Knowledge Is Not Everything
I understand your need to nitpick but, Angakuk's original reply to me made no mention of any grammatical error ... unless of course he would like to "addend" what he said. This is essentially what he did to begin with, as far as I'm concerned, for it wasn't necessary and he only added it "after the fact."
