Re: Ghost in the Shell Mafia
And since I'm pretty sure someone will ask this next, I would be fine with a lynch of either diva or wei, although I lean toward diva because of the flail... "pissed off" or not. Hence my vote, which I'll just keep parked right where it is unless something really triggers my scumdar again.

Re: Ghost in the Shell Mafia
Also, this is the phase we always get into, that late day 1 drag where people start to drift off. I've been doing it too, to some extent, although I've also had job interviews and WoW raids going on that eat a shitload of my time.
After long enough in day 1, in every game we play here, everything just starts going in circles... and I feel that point has arrived.

I see it more as a kind of stalemate situation. I'm not sure why those who are voting Jerome, yet agree that crumb and/or Pan .. or even Wei ... are good lynch candidates, are unwilling to reconsider their vote in order to get the game (not the day, the game) moving again.
unvote
vote Pan Narrans

Re: Ghost in the Shell Mafia
Gee, I hate to be lynched due to ambivalence. It feels kinda sad.
I wish I could say that I got more of a read on anyone than I did when I voted for Nightson. But, I don't.
I could vote for Crumb or Pan, I suppose. But neither of them really ping as scum.
I'd rather not vote for myself as it doesn't seem very pro-town to lynch a townie. But, if I must go, I'll go.
And I really wish I knew why I come off as scum so often.

it's pretty distant also-rans against the person who has come off by far most scummy to me. Pan pings mostly due to lack of participation?

Re: Ghost in the Shell Mafia
I'll say that's why I put Pan up on my list of "I would move my vote". I've got Crumb not only because of OMGUS (which, btw, he totally does), but aside from his earlier tetchiness, he didn't support his vote for me other than quote Nightson. That's not really like him either.
Also his question to me about Nightson's motivations struck me as scummy.
The only thing that keeps me from saying that Crumb is absolutely scum is that it means I'll have to believe that he and Nightson are a team. And frankly, Crumb's behavior makes a scum team too obvious and I have to think he wouldn't be so obvious.

You really didn't get anything from his half-arsed posts?
Really raven, you're not up to your usual game so far. FOS this ... again ... and particularly FOS your question about why Pan pings.

I think we should set ourselves an arbitrary deadline for a lynching. How about by noon Friday?

I don't meta so I can't speak to what you've done in prior games. I wipe the slate every time we play. That said,

Emphasis mine.

Those two posts alone are pretty big red flags in my book, and that's why I would be willing to lynch you, although I'd much rather see diva hang for her flail.

Interesting.
I try to draw out your reasons for the vote, and you respond thusly.
Not sure I'd go so far as FoS without some review, but this does look a little odd.

Re: Ghost in the Shell Mafia
Wait. Alright, I get it on that second post. I read it out of order and thought you were referring to ravenscape, saying you KNOW she is town. I re-read and realized you were talking about yourself.
You know... that's even worse. OMGUS much?

I already said that I will vote for Jerome if it comes down to it, especially now with his most recent posts. I understand about team playing, but I just want to make sure that I am playing with town and not being led around by the nose by scum.
Gonzo, do you not think that Raven's posts have been off?

I'd be insulted if you guys thought my playing weren't off, tbh. I hope I don't usually play like I'm on narcotics.

Re: Ghost in the Shell Mafia
To be honest, this day is dragging on far too long for me to maintain interest. It seems like half the roster plays any given day and never on the same day. Calls for participation results in a small burst of activity, but yields no change in results.
Oh and I OMGUS all the time. It comes from being too thin-skinned to play this game properly. But, in this case, I truly believe Nightson very deliberately misrepresented my actions. In no way did I attempt to defend my backing off of JEROME as anything other than not wanting a hammer. I certainly did not try to present it as no longer thinking JEROME was scum. Hell, even you and others who think me scummy have pointed out that my vote JEROME was never predicated on his being scum.
As for diva flailing, I don't see it. Not enough pressure, IMO.

Re: Ghost in the Shell Mafia
Oh and Megs about my claim to know someone is Town. Granted you clarified your misunderstanding, but if you had really thought I made that claim why didn't you ask me about it?
I mean, that's a pretty big claim for me to make and let it go unquestioned, no?

Re: Ghost in the Shell Mafia
I don't understand why the pressure is on the players currently on the largest bandwagon to change their votes rather than otherwise.
OTOH, it goes against my grain to switch when I think my vote is on scum, and I'm willing to grant that some of you feel the same about other players right now.
At this point, I'm reconsidering Crumb and Pan based on a partial reread.

Elouise you haven't exactly been posting much the last week or so. Now you're pressuring people to get off the Jerome wagon.
Why is that?

I honestly don't know. I don't remember anyone asking me about it, especially since my answer was pretty easy to come by. If anyone asked, I missed it and didn't answer it.

I've already said why I'm not convinced he should be lynched (again, I encourage you review my posts) ... In order to lynch a player we have to reach a majority consensus, and Jerome's not the only player high on peoples' scum lists.

Now that you bring it up, I'm wondering why am I not getting pressure to re-apply my vote. I mean, I already had a vote on him and have repeatedly said I'd be willing to vote for him.
Still, instead of being pressured to revote for him, I'm having my unvote of him being used against me.
