Sorry, at in-laws, where my only net access is someone's unsecured router that I can barely get a signal from. I'll take a look and get my vote in hopefully before noon my time.

Re: The Resistance 2 - Game Thread
The vote is 3-3. And in a tie the proposal is voted down. Proposal 4.3 is rejected.
| Proposal | Proposed By | Adam | Daphne | Kael | chunks | Jerome | Contra | Mission Result |
|---|
| 1.1: Adam, Daphne | Adam | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes | SUCCESS | | 2.1: Chunk, Jerome, Contra | Daphne | No | Yes | No | No | No | No | n/a | | 2.2: Adam, Daphne, Kael | Kael | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes | FAIL | | 3.1: Adam, Daphne, chunksmediocrites, Contra | chunks | Yes | Yes | No | Yes | No | Yes | SUCCESS | | 4.1: Adam, Daphne, Contra | Jerome | Yes | No | No | No | Yes | No | n/a | | 4.2: Daphne, Jerome, Contra | Contra | No | Yes | No | No | Yes | Yes | n/a | | 4.3: chunks, Contra, Daphne | Adam | Yes | No | No | Yes | No | Yes | n/a |
| # | Player | |
|---|
| 1 | Adam | | | 2 | Daphne | LEADER | | 3 | Kael | | | 4 | chunks | | | 5 | Jerome | | | 6 | Contra | |
Daphne is now the leader. Whenever you are ready Daphne you can make proposal 4.4.
Let's try this to run things more smoothly: This time when you vote yes or no on the proposal, if you are on the proposed mission please also send in a SUCCESS or FAIL

Daphne, why did you vote yes on 4.2, but no on 4.3?

Re: The Resistance 2 - Game Thread
Pointing out here that either Daphne has to propose a mission that is approved, or else Kael has to propose a mission that is approved. If we reject five consecutive proposed missions, the spies win.
Daphne, I also would like to know how you decided on the last vote, and your thoughts on potential spies; as well your thinking behind whatever proposal you bring forth. Win proposal, double-spy proposal, "vetting" etc.

Re: The Resistance 2 - Game Thread
That's not going to happen because we in the resistance would be smart enough to pass proposal 5 regardless, to at least ensure we fight another day.
Daphne, who were you suspecting in that last proposed group to make you vote "no"?
Why?

Kael is the next leader, this has to be a winning proposal.
Daphne, you have to pick the three people you are most sure are not spies.

Re: The Resistance 2 - Game Thread
Evening Folks!
Ok my vote of no to the last mission was based on the fact that I am suspect of Chunks and Contra both. In the proposed mission before that it was myself, Jerome and Contra.
I voted yes to this because I know I am the resistance and I think Jerome is too. So, I figured if we went with Contra and it failed, then we would know he is a spy and not send him on the final mission. i didn't like the idea of 2 people who I find very suspect being on the mission with me.
These are my thoughts on the players:
Resistance-Daphne, Jerome, Adam
Scum-Kael
Unsure Contra, Chunks

Re: The Resistance 2 - Game Thread
I would like to send myself, Jerome and Adam. I will wait to make a proposal until I hear from you guys what you think. I would like to agree on the proposal before I submit it. I don't want another one to be rejected. This would not be good for the Resistance.

A rejected proposal here loses the game for the Resistance.

Re: The Resistance 2 - Game Thread
At this point I don't think Adam is as likely to be the spy as you or Jerome are, Daphne. If your proposal is voted in and succeeds I'll congratulate you.
I don't know why you don't suspect Jerome, can you explain at all how you came to that conclusion?
If you offer up your proposal as official, Daphne, I'm of a mind to vote yes at this point.

Yes it does, Kael is a spy, he will place a spy on the next mission, one of this mission or the next mission must be approved or it is a lose.

Re: The Resistance 2 - Game Thread
Dumbass. Then don't reject at least one of the last two proposals. You saying "A rejected proposal here loses the game" is simply not true.
Even running a FAIL mission means A) something can be learned and B) we have another mission.
It's not ideal, but the OMG GAME OVER! shit is over the top. I thought you needed some mettle to your character to join the resistance! Who vetted this guy?

If this mission is rejected then Kael is the leader on a mission which can not be rejected.
Kael will put a spy on his proposal.
This mission must be approved and this mission must have no spies for the Resistance to win.

It's 2-1, JEROME. Obviously, we'd prefer to win it here, but we're not at lynch or lose yet.
Bomb or lose. Whatever.

Re: The Resistance 2 - Game Thread
I'm actually sort of curious to see what kind of mission Kael would propose at this point. There's a really obvious move for him if he's a spy.

Re: The Resistance 2 - Game Thread
I am not sure who would be the best to go on a mission here.
I have to run out for a bit. I was initially thinking myself, Adam and then a third person. Not Kale for obvious reasons. I guess that Adam could have failed the mission just as much as Kael. It just appears Kael likes no mission (he voted no to everything but the first mission and the mission he was on that failed).
Thoughts please???

Re: The Resistance 2 - Game Thread
If we don't propose a mission that passes, I think Jerome is trying to say that it will be Kale's mission that we have to accept. If Kale is the spy, then we lose.

If Kael is the spy and we have to accept his mission, then we're tied at 2-2 after it fails.

I think the problem with that proposal is that, if Kael isn't the spy, one of us certainly is.

And, perhaps not coincidentally, I'm leaning more and more toward Daphne being that spy...
