Default Truth and Politics

In a thread on another forum, someone asked if anyone had a year-to-year graph of US Military spending as a percentage of the annual budget. I did a quick Google search and came up with the graph at this site, and moreover it looks like a pretty ambitious little site. I encourage anyone who is interested in doing research or writing political content for a grassroots educational site to have a look around there. (Okay so I don't even really know what grassroots means but it came up a lot when I was subscribed to the Utne Reader back in the early '90's, so I figure maybe it's applicable here.)

Huh. Well I liked it a lot back then, mostly because growing up as I did and having just gotten out of the Army, it was my first real exposure to a lot of liberal perspectives. I don't remember exactly why I quit reading it. I might have thought it was a bit too liberal...
