Where will Crumb be?
Unfortunately Crumb will be involuntarily away from the internet for an indeterminent amount of time. 
Why will Crumb be gone?
Crumb will be gone because Verizon is a company of incompetant bastardos that can't keep the internet piped to his door and won't give him free dial-up when they fail to do so. 
What can I do?
Miss him greatly and shower him with gifts upon his return.
Anything other news about Crumb?
Yes, I'm glad you asked. He is waiting for a Volt recruiter to schedule an interview for him with a MS manager who seems to be interested. He may be taking the drive up to Redmond in the near future (i.e. Friday) for an interview.
What Can I do?
You can wish him luck, you unimaginitive asshat.
Why should I care about Crumb at all?

 Thank you sweet livkins. I still have some minutes of internet time left here at the library and for all I know my connection might snap back on at home any moment... or not. Until then I will be going through  withdrawals. Thank you for all the glomps.  Although next time I could do without the ones that proceed to eat my brains.

I guess the miserable bastards at Verizon aren't all that bad. I am back up and running and they gave me a $6 credit. I guess I will wait before I post that the sky is falling next time.
Suddenly the dim and previously impenitrable darkness that was my future has begun to brighten. I have two interviews scheduled for tomorrow with two different groups at MS.   Wish me luck. I am going to need it.
