Glider Basics
My first textbook has arrived. 
I'm glad it is the one that got here first, because it should prove the most interesting. The other is merely an FAA handbook.
Glider Basics: From First Flight to Solo by Thomas Knauff.
I haven't read any of the book yet. But I have flipped through a few times and it looks very cool. Line drawn illustrations fill its pages accompanied by detailed descriptions of gliders and how they are flown. I can't wait to dive in and be ready for my first flight.
