MAFIA - Game II

Welcome to the :ff: edition of Mafia - Game II

Visit Mafiascum.net or the Mafia wikipedia entry if you don't know what this is all about.

This thread is for active game players (listed below) only. Posts by non- or eliminated players will be removed.

All :ff: members may discuss the game in the Peanut Gallery thread.

This Mafia consists of 20 players, including the following characters:

3 Mafia (with the option to recruit 1 more*)
1 Cop (may investigate role of 1 player per night)
1 Doctor (may protect one player from being killed per night, no consecutive protections of the same player and no protecting themselves)
1 Vigilante (may kill one suspected mafia per night)

*Recruiting: During any night (once in the game) the mafia may decide to recruit instead of kill a player. This player will then join the mafia for the duration of the game. Any player is susceptible to recruitment, regardless of their role. Naturally the mafia will learn the player's former role and any information he/she learned while in that position.

This version is a non-PMing version of the game. Ordinary townies should not be exchanging game-related PM's.

All game play should occur during daytime and within the game thread. There are no discussions at night in the game thread. When a solid consensus of votes has been reached 50% +1 vote, any player may call nightfall and all game play should immediately cease. Any posts made after nightfall will be removed to the peanut gallery thread.

Any surviving Mafia can PM each other and mafia, the cop, and the doc and vigilante all PM me there choices for a kill, investigation or protection.

Votes must be in bold or they won't be counted!

Legs

trillian

livius drusus
TomJoe

As the sun unwraps the darkness over Jersey City, the townsfolk begin to rise. On this particular morning every citizen is vastly more optimistic than the week before. Last night's town hall meeting was widely considered a complete success, with a strong majority in agreement on an answer to the overwhelming crime problem: Find and lynch every member of the bastard Tribiani crime family. Of course the townies aren't the only ones with sugar in their coffee, as far as the Tribiani's are concerned these townsfolk couldn't find a rat in a thimble. Besides, any excuse for a bloodbath is a good one.

Everyone agrees: it's going to be a good week.

Please wait for your PMs telling you your role before posting, I'm sending them within the hour. Feel free to PM me with any questions.

That was about as random as my coin toss vote last game. Um...er...don't kill me, it will lower your chance of winning by .0562%...I swear, I've done the math! Besides, I'm the Doctor, the Cop, and the Used Car Salesman.

Glad y'all like the intro. :)

Btw, it's 11 votes to lynch at this stage of the game.

I didn't get to edit in the link before you quoted me. With that I am off folks...

Kevlar 07-27-2006 01:43 AM

Re: MAFIA - Game II

I personally saw Crumb holding $90k in another thread. No townie would have that kind of money.

Re: MAFIA - Game II

Just a lucky day at the track. Don't worry i am sure I am about to lose it all.

Joshua Adams 07-27-2006 01:46 AM

Re: MAFIA - Game II

I'll be keeping a personal concise record of all the votes for each day (including order), so if anyone wants me to dump that info later when it gets laborious to go back and check yourself...

All we have to do is lynch somebody, then we can go to bed.
