Or thinking about it, at least. For the centenary of Finland's independence which will be 6 Dec 2017.

Yeah, well...With all that oil revenue, they can afford to be extravagant with their gift giving.

Besides, it's not 'a mountain' they are giving the Finns, its the stinking peak of that mountain. As noted the highest point in the country is already on the flank of that very same mountain...probably where the arbitrarily determined straight line of the imaginary border traverses the surface very near that selfsame peak. The Norskis give up some, what, .015 sq.km. of land to gift the peak to the Finns? BFD.

I bet they stick the Finns with the cost of the hotel room...

I think it would be a lovely gift. Some of the best gifts cost very little to give and yet touch the heart with their simplicity. Think of those homemade gifts that your children have given you and how they melted your heart.

I'm sure if you asked nicely, the Luxembourgers would give you a mountain, though you'd likely have to clear the mole out yourselves.
