I'm Basset Hound
 

I'm a long eared doggie, I live in a dog house and I like slurping, chasing balls and rabbits and nosing. Politically I'm all over the board, but I detest social justice wankers and keyboard commandos equally. I have no religion and want none. I am not hostile to others' religions generally, but I must say I disapprove of gods who drown puppies.

I also like to slurp cats and am very friendly with them.

When I was growing up we had a Bench Leg Beagle that chased rabbits in the woods behind our house. We had no close neighbors, so no-one was disturbed by his baying. One day we watched him chase a rabbit across an open field. The rabbit would run ahead and then stop and wait for the dog to catch up. and then run ahead again and sit and wait. My father believed that is was the same rabbit that would let the dog chase it each day. The dog was too slow to catch the rabbit, and the rabbit knew it. The dog was a 'scent hound' and would hunt with his nose to the ground, not even looking for the rabbit.
