He's got no fuckin' constitutional right in Sweden. He'll be an alien. He'll have no American constitutional rights - his lawyers should be able to tell him that. I'd be surprised if they let him in to the country, given some of the public statements that he's made. He's threatened to stalk the royal family, fer cryin' out loud.

You can't take the Fifth Amendment when testifying in Canada, either. The protection against self-incrimination does not exist in their legal system, which I assume they inherited as part of the Commonwealth.

Americans make the mistake of thinking that their rights extend to everywhere in the world. They do not.

I still say they should allow him to enter and shoot his mouth off. Then throw his sorry derriere into prison to thinkfume about it. He can give the State Department a workout. I hope Jens and Ole get friendly while he's enjoying the hospitality of Sweden.
