City of Gord
The SO has a conference, and I needed to use up some vacation time, so I tagged along to take advantage of the free room and visit a few places from my past. Got into town yesterday, did a couple of quick side trips before checking in. Spent today exploring the city. Not a bad town. Nice green spaces, ok downtown. Restaurants could be better, or maybe we just haven't found the good ones yet. State park right downtown. I am surprised to be impressed with the stadium, which is kind of badass to the point that I would almost overlook the taxpayer subsidy.
I thought about what I would do and how I would react when I encountered my first Gorden. This was folly, as I soon realized that they are all Gordens here. White, black, gay, straight, short, tall, young and old. For this is a city of Gordens, and I move amongst them as one of them.
