Why don't you post the rest of that passage on Rigel and Columbus? Why did you not post the rest of the passage which proves that this is what he meant? Or did you rewrite the whole text to eliminate yet another big bunch of stupid?

That's not what he meant David. He meant the opposite. With a powerful enough telescope we would see someone in the present, not the past. You understand less than I imagined, if that's possible.
